WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that helps people achieve their maximum fitness potential. CrossFit is defined as constantly varied functional movements that are performed at high intensity. However, the intensity is relative to each individual. Each workout can be modified for anyone no matter what level they are at. Furthermore, our classes are lead by expert coaches who are constantly learning to serve you better. So, if you can’t perform a movement as written, our coaches will be able to find a suitable substitute.
Our movement philosophy starts with mechanics. In other words, we want you to move really well. Second is consistency. This means that your first rep looks exactly like you 50th or 100th rep. Lastly, the intensity is increased. However, this is IF, and only IF, the first two steps have been mastered. Intensity means either increasing the weight or moving faster. With this philosophy not only to people get fit, but they also stay safe and healthy. So, whether you are just starting your journey in health and fitness or you have been working out for multiple years, our program can help get you to where you want to go.
HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?
Start by booking your FREE CONSULT. In this consult, you will come into the gym and personally meet with Co-Owner Deanna Roper. She will give you a tour of the facility, discuss your options and you can ask any questions you may have. Whether it’s fundamentals, personal training, group training, nutrition, stress management, or joint health we’ve got something for you. Once you’re in we take care of you from there. In short, you come in, share some laughs, and work hard! It’s that simple.

Just started here 2 weeks ago and absolutely love the atmosphere and the workouts! If you are wanting an epic workout the system they run has different levels to cater to your fitness level. The coaches are all well trained, very friendly and have in-depth answers for your workout questions. Would definitely recommend working out here if your a beginner or a very experienced physically fit person.

The amazing facility, the incredible coaches, the supportive community, the variety in programming, the focus on health and wellness…there are just so many good things to say about CrossFit Camrose! I started at CrossFit Camrose in July 2018. This is the longest I’ve ever stayed with something, and it’s because of the community. The coaches are great, and the focus is on proper movement. Before, I’d try to program for myself or workout with friends, and I wouldn’t see the benefit and give up. I know that the coaches are always going to make sure I am doing it right, and they, along with all the people at the gym, are the reason I keep coming back.
CrossFit Camrose has given me back my confidence! I love that I get to go to the gym and feel supported by the coaches and other members. Everyone is so supportive that it makes it so much easier to want to show up every single time. It is so much more than just a gym!
